After a year in private beta, the Artea app opens to everyone. Opening an account takes about five minutes, with nothing to print, post or sign.

Today the Artea app opens to everyone. Download it, check your identity with a photo of your ID and a short video, and your account is ready, usually in about five minutes.

We started Artea in 2018 after waiting a week to open a bank account. Everything in the app starts from the same question: does this make money easier?

How sign-up works

Download the app and enter your phone number.

Record a short video so we know it’s really you. It takes about ten seconds.

Start spending. Your virtual card is ready as soon as your account opens.
